THE SOLEMNITY OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD

The Mass of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God was celebrated on December 31st 2009 at 10pm. The mass was celebrated by visiting Barbadian priest Fr. Charles Dominique. Fr Charles in his homily told the congregation that they should not feel disappointment over failure to keep the resolutions that they may have made at the beginning of the past year but to see the new year as one to try again. He also echoed the Holy Father’s World Day of Peace message, that sought to link the promotion of peace with our concern and protection of the environment.
